Agree with him about Black History Month – a ghetto – but you have to talk about racism when the idea of discrimination is enshrined in the law of the land, as it is in the US and UK

You’re right, of course, I just like the idea of waking up one day to a world where people don’t pay attention to a difference in skin colour except to appreciate and marvel at how different some cultural upbringings are. Just so we can say to each other, “Hey we’re so different, how cool is that?!”. I also occasionally fantasise about a world free of war, where visas and borders don’t exist and we can all be free to roam as if the world belongs to everybody. Foolish, but worth the occasional daydream…
