12 Weeks

September 3rd

It’s time.  We are officially inside the 12 weeks mark and now I can talk about it.

Let the countdown commence to the next leg of my trip.  The scariest and most exciting part so far, because this, my friends… Is the home run!

Overview of my trip so far

Days away from home: 1,076 (3 years this month)

Countries so far: Africa (Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, South Africa), Australia (Perth to Broome and Adelaide to Melbourne), New Zealand, Bali.

Visit The Road So Far for the full story.

What’s left?

EVERYWHERE ELSE!

So if you would like to enjoy the scenic route back to the UK with me, the first flight is booked to take me to Fiji on 26th November.  You’re very welcome to click follow and join me along the way to see what I’m getting up to.

However, you’ll be arriving late to the party, because the adventure starts right now with PLANNING! (My guilty pleasure)

I’ll post a series of planning updates over the next 3 months, to both keep you informed and ask your advice on all things travel.  I’ve already made a start with the Christmas and New Year plan well underway.

Let me know if you have any brilliant travel tips, or can recommend your pal’s blogs for me to check out on Fiji for Christmas or a New Year celebration in Sydney!  I’ll make sure I include a pingback in my planning updates to any posts I find particularly helpful or inspiring.

My journey is, pretty much, in your hands. Please bear in mind I do not have an endless supply of cash, my income ends the day I fly out, so after that I’m working from an ever decreasing supply, please be sparing with my savings! If you have any great suggestions for making money on the road, these are also VERY welcome!
